Danny Downey was my best friend. We were camping, canoeing and hunting buddies and spent countless hours hanging out. He received a masters in biology from UTA and became an EMT and instructor. We were in each others weddings and stayed close. He died of brain cancer in 1986, survived by his wife Kathy and daughter Kimba. His mother still lives in the same house he grew up. Danny's bright mind and keen wit made him great company. His SAT was 1360 before prep! Danny, I still miss you!
