Tony and I were great friends in high school, also living in the same neighborhood. We both went to Texas A&M, and sadly I lost track of him after college.
Several years ago I saw he had passed away (way too young), and managed to attend his catholic mass funeral. I also answered for him at Aggie muster that year.
