Nancy and I were best friends in elementary school. I spent many Friday nights at her home where it seemed her family was my family. She lived on Kirkwood Road where several of our friends lived nearby....seemed like kid central to me! We continued our friendship into adulthood and in recent years had lunch together several times when I was in Fort Worth. Nancy was kind-hearted, smart, and especially insightful. She will be missed, but my memories are sweet and treasured. Rest well, My Friend....see you when I get there.
Nancy and my brother Clint Hile were together for almost twenty years, and even though Clint doesn’t use Facebook, I wanted to share this on his behalf as well. Nancy was truly part of our family, and we will miss her more than words can express. Clint and Nancy loved each other deeply, and our hearts are with her family and everyone who loved her.
I was so sorry to hear about Nancy. I knew her from Grade school all the way through high school. She was always so much fun and I was so thrilled when she Clint got together.
