Eliska was a great lady and friend. We grew up in the same neighborhood, went to the same elementary school. We had good, wild times together. A life...gone too soon....

I used to love to see what hairstyle Eliska would have each day.  She was so cute.

I worked with Eliska's mother in the Women's Accessories Dept. at Neiman-Marcus my senior year.  I was in the DECA program.  Jan was so sweet and a very attractive woman.  She had the most beautiful complexion I have ever seen!

Oh but the hilarious sense of humor that Eliska had was over the Top!!!!!!  I spent so much time laughing along the rocky road of adolescence with Eliska.  But to this day one of my favorite stark raving hilarious incidences with Eliska was when we were trying to sneak out of class before the bell rang. We were out in one of the temp buildings near the football field.  Our teacher had to go do something so she asked the teacher in the building across from ours to watch the door and make sure no one left before the bell rang.  The teacher announced to all of this to us with the famous "I trust that you kids will stay in the building until the bell rings but just in case I have told MRS X to keep an eye on the door"  Well that did it My brain flipped into "wow I guess we better test this out mode" and told Eliska to get her things because we had to leave NOW!  Via the coat room window exit.  Eliska went out the window which would have been great ...except her "mini skirt " got caught on a nail and she was just dangling around in mid air.  At that time all of the football team came running by and there was Eliska just hanging there with her knickers to the world:)  And me??? well I was rendered incapable of helping her as I had collapsed onto the floor into  full blown laughing hysterics,  Good thing neither one of us became flight attendants:) God I loved Eliska what a joy she was!

Rennie, thanks for painting something so memorable about your relationship to Eliska.  I speaks volumes!  She was always dressed and groomed to the hilt, or was the word "mod" at that time?  Either way, she was an interesting and upbeat person who will really be missed by family and friends.
