I had the pleasure of getting to know Jeannie during the summer before 10th grade . She lived in Burton Hill and would sneak out her mother's Mustang sometimes and pick me up . We had a wreck one night and had to call my father to rescue us. Luckily we weren't hurt. She was such a pretty, sweet girl. To this day, whenever I hear the song "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay", I think of Jeannie and our summer adventures. RIP, sweet girl.

I knew her (somewhat) since kindergarten. We didn't run in the same circles throughout our school years but she was a sweet girl. One day, for some unknown reason, she popped into my mind. Then about a week or so later, her obituary appeared in the paper. Almost gave me chills and I was sad to hear of her passing.
