Mike was my next door neighbor for over 17 years, and my best friend since second grade, He is missed by his MANY GOOD FRIENDS, and I am lucky to be counted as one of those. TD
Mike asked me out on a date. He came to pick me up on his motorcycle. My mother sees this and yells at my father, "Don't let her get on that motorcycle!" I said not to worry because I wasn't going to get on that. My father and I walked outside and Mike told him that we were going to get his car. So I hopped on the back. My father looked helplessly on as we backed out of the driveway. Minutes later we are flying down Camp Bowie going between the lanes and Mike is popping wheelies as I held on.I lived to tell the tale. Never a dull moment with Mike. P.S. We did go get his car!
