I'm very sorry to hear this news.  I haven't seen Suzie in decades , but she was a great friend in high school.
She was a beautiful girl with lots of admirers, but was a beautiful person as well.  I'm not surprised to read that she spent much of her life giving to others.  That was Suzie.  R.I.P, my friend ..     John V.

I am also so sorry and sad to see Suzie's obituary.  She was so kind to everyone in high school.  I had the pleasure of enjoying a nice long conversation with her before our 50th reunion.  She had family committments that weekend in Abilene and couldn't add the reunion to the schedule.  We had planned to get together for lunch on one of her many trips to FW, but unfortunatley we didn't get that done. R.I.P. Suzie :)

I was very sorry to hear the news of Suzie's passing.  Per my memory,,, I saw her at our 30th Year Reunion (June, 2001,,,  at Colonel Country Club)  and again at our Class-wide,, 50th birthday party,, a couple years later (June, 2003,,, on Lake Worth)  but didn't see her at any of our get-togethers,, since that Summer 2003 event . The past 2 or 3 months have been quite a ROUGH period with so many classmates passing away,,, as we (first) remember Dale Donaldson,,, then Branham Small,, and now Suzie Childress. My deepest condolences go out to all  their surviving loved ones,, as may they all,,, RIP.
