Chris Mayfield

I left school and joined the ARMY, went to Vietnam were I served as a Scout Observer in LRRP'S. I was discharged in '74 and later joined the NAVY. While in the NAVY I trained as a Hospital Corpsman and served with the 2nd MARINES.
After the military I became a paramedic and went to work for the Texas Department of Corrections. I worked my way through the ranks and retired as an Assistant Warden in '99 after a serious motor vehicle accident.
I did some teaching for a few years and I am now mostly retired and enjoying life.

School Story ?? well those that knew me know I spent more time at Ben Brook Lake than school. It cost me in the long run but I had a great time enjoying the lake, beer, and women.
I was a member of the "Social Club" PEERS and was it's last president before we had to disband the club. We had LOTS of parties as some may remember, today it would have been considered a gang so I guess it was for the best.
I had fun at Heights but I grew up when I went into the military
